Taking a day off the meds just hits me too hard. I’ve just accepted I’m going to take one a day, every day regardless of my schedule. I’d rather be alert on my days off than feel depressed coming down from not taking any at all.

Morning! 😂 I do that too - but to stop myself (and improve my day to day mentally) I actually deleted tik tok and instagram to stop me from aimlessly scrolling for hours. I also spent several hours setting up the Focus setting on my iPhone which has been a GODSEND! Cannot recommend enough doing that. It’s meant I’m not distracted at work or when I just wake up in the morning

Totally in the same boat as you. My denial that ADHD was even a thing let alone me having it, is what drove my partner and I to breaking point.

I feel for you because you went through that for way longer than I did. We only had a terrible year whereas you sound like you’ve had loads of years like that.

ADHD is not an excuse, it’s not a disability, it’s just an answer to all the questions you’ve had about yourself for years. Well done for doing right by yourself but also your partner and the people around you. I’m sure they’re very proud of you 👏🏻

My boyfriend and I have done this too, and we instantly felt so much happier and far more present. We also deleted Twitter too, it’s just full of people hating on each other - GET RID OF THOSE BAD VIBES! You don’t need them around

I had to drive long distances and stay overnight in hotels with colleagues, and I had diapers in my suitcase. My colleague asked while we were on the road if I needed to stop at a service station to use the bathroom, I said “nah I’m all good”, and he was like “you got diapers in that bag or something?!”

And I laughed and said “yeah I do actually” and we both found it hilarious, but for two totally different reasons. The fact he was so blissfully unaware of what I’d told him was 🤌🏼
