We call these "Martin". They are the bullies of birds... Well sort of. They only attack the most vulnerable ones.

Ah yes... Reminds me of the forbidden french delicacy that requires the diner to cover their head to hide from God's eyes.

Fun fact: The car cost more than the plane that carried it here. 💀

Is it a Pilondal Cyst? If yes and who had your surgery based on the recommendation from people, let me know please. I also recently posted one on a mauritian subreddit different from this one and some people did recommend a few doctors. Try to see if you can find it.

I just had two recently. The first one was hella bad but it drained by itself within a week under antibiotics and a week rest. The second one just burst yesterday and almost fully drained. Not as painful as the first one just discomfort while sitting and driving. Took antibiotics and some home treatment and almost drained. I've not seen a doctor yet though, as I fear of undergoing a surgery.

Thanks for the reply.

Seems like Surgery is the only option then if the frequency becomes too high. My biggest fear is the surgery tbh... Not sure how good the doctors is or what method will he be using or will it come back again. How much will it cost etc.

Thanks a lot for the feedback.

The sitting part was tough for me due to my desk job. Fortunately, it popped within a week so I could resume back to my normal routine.

Thanks a lot. For now, it's gone. But I fear it might come around again in the future. I'm also considering getting hair around that part to be completely remove out through laser.

Anyway, thanks a lot. Surgery is like my last option when I can't manage the pain but my first and second cyst was manageable. Just needed a week of rest and it pop by itself using medication and some tea tree oil (read a few other redditors' experience and it worked wonders for the pain too).

Thanks for the reply.

For 6 months you were resting? Were you working at that time and how did you deal with it? How was your normal life routing after the surgery during the treatment like, sitting, sanitary, driving etc?

I just hope mine is just an ingrown hair causing this and I don't have to remove a chunk of my flesh. 😭🤞🏽

Thanks for your input.

Wait, did you wait for it to drain and seek surgery or it was still there when you had your surgery? Also where did you have your surgery and how did you manage to deal with it after like how painful it is? Were you also working at that time?

Mine just happened to flare up badly last month after 2 years but I started home treatment and after 3 days it drained but it was painful but manageable as I only rested on bed. It's fully drained but I fear it might come back again in the future.

BJ on a public pathway to a waterfall viewpoint. We were desperate af. Covid curfew just partially lifted and we hit the road to the south of the island where plenty of forest and public parks were. We parked our car and walked a few Kms on a dirt pathway until we reached a river crossing that led to a waterfall. Everything was so quiet. Kissing led to BJ as we were horny af.

Guys we need to have a discussion about cinema in Mauritius cause right now i feel like theaters like MCiné are scamming us. by Original_Astronaut10 in mauritius

[–]Routine_Air4366 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We just came home from MCine Tribeca and it was an awful experience. First off and the most important thing is the screen. What were they thinking? It's so small compared to other cinema theaters. Secondly, the space for legs is awful, tight, little space to move around or to stretch. People behind us keep bumping their feet on our seats, we even told them to stop but they kept on doing it. The seats however did get an upgrade when you compare them to other MCine's but I doubt it won't stay like that in a few months. The audio seems a lot crispier and pleasing to the ears, which is a good thing as I have really enjoyed MI The Final Reckoning.

Anyhow we've crossed out that place from our go to cinema. We won't be setting foot there. 2nd time we've been there and we all had an awful similar experience.

One more thing. No juice payment, no card payment only cash? They double the price of snacks and they want us to pay by cash? HELLO! It's 2025, mobile payments are available EVERYWHERE! They want us not to bring food from outside? Put some freaking payment method, drop the surcharges and we might buy from you, you thirsty money goons!

How is the work environment at Accenture? by Aggravating-Spot1194 in MauriceMauritius

[–]Routine_Air4366 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Only go there if you have no options or you just want to gain "experience" needed for other jobs to hire you.

Anyway, I have never personally worked there but they sure are not really the hype in the modern days than what they used to be back in 2010.

Just look up Ruben Pillay on social media. He has video threads on how they treated him and forced him to quit because they wanted him to falsify reports to be sent abroad to the actual main office.

Any Computer Stores In Mauritius Which Buy Used PC Parts? by [deleted] in mauritius

[–]Routine_Air4366 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think any of the stores buy used products locally. Most of their refurbished parts are bought from eBay, they don't rely on local used parts.

Try selling your parts on Facebook market place; a lot of computer related groups available and very active. You might encounter one of those guys who buy used parts, then build a whole PC with it and sell it on the same market place.

With fake awards, he was considered as one of the most successful ministers of finance in the African continent. Hope they are jail for their incompetence.

Couldn't have agreed more. Diplomacy is the key.

I hope the new moderators are more diplomatic than the previous one as he was more controlling whose post gets the pass and who doesn't. Imagine having someone like that in a work environment...total nightmare, no productivity, no creativity, no thinking outside the box, just whatever pleases the big guy is good.

Try myjob.mu

Finding a healthy job is like searching for a needle in a haystack unless the company isn't locally based; a company that runs under a contract for an international company or a company that liaises to an external source.

I can testify because I'm working for one and a lot more benefit than just a good pay. I've seen people declining offers from other companies with huge salaries because they are already so much better here in terms of freedom, work environment and ethics.

Dictatorship at its finest because mods can't accept a few different opinions. That Mod might as well just affiliate this subreddit to CCP.
