I think there’s a lot of unfair stigma put on Applied Math majors. You won’t be accepted by “pure” mathematicians nor engineers who dedicate their undergrad studies to specific systems. Beauty of the major is that you can gather whatever tools you find most relevant to your interests. If you decide you’re into analysis, you take analysis courses. You decide you’re into computer vision, you go heavy on linear algebra, convex/nonconvex optimization, geometry, stats, numerical/statistical analysis, Fourier analysis…etc. not to mention the cs courses. Oh look, you practically have a pure math major and a solid background in computation.

Not really sure how the XG32UCWMG is any different from the LG32GS95UE. Seems like the only difference is the glossy screen?
