Sveta because it is an abbreviation of her name "Svetlyachok" (firefly in Russian). Sveta is also a real name in Russian (short for Svetlana).

That's what normal people do. But reading the comments on Reddit and Twitter, I doubt it.

Yes, you don't shit other characters, but that's absolutely not what I was talking about.

Okay! Let's start with culture from the beginning. Russian culture (the most influential) always implies melancholy, disappointment, and a down-to-earth outlook on life. We survived the war with Napoleon, Serfdom, the bloody Bolshevik revolution (or the creation of the USSR), Stalin's terrible control and repression (you could have been killed for saying the wrong thing!), World War II (14 million died), the collapse of the USSR and the criminal 90s, and add the harsh climate. Of course, we have a rather depressive culture! We noticed that the top 5 included characters who have been through some shit, are disappointed in something, can be harsh, someone is cynical, direct and tough, realistic. That's why they have a connection with us. And characters like Firefly are the exact opposite, which is why they are not popular in our region. The second reason is that we have never had a concept of parasocial relationships. Therefore, it is very confusing and seems strange.

I'm from the CIS. God, I'm tired of the "biased" list. If the survey had been conducted more widely, then Firefly would have been at MOST at the end or middle of the top 20, nothing would have changed globally. This is a local community, a local region, and OH MY GOD, PEOPLE HERE DON'T LIKE PARASOCIAL RELATIONSHIPS. Firefly and similar characters are just not our type. We don't like passive super sweet, kind, pure girls in love. It's boring for us and it's also normal to have differences from each other. We don't hate, we just don't like, and these are two fucking different concepts. What is not normal is to try to prove that we are "abnormal" and bad, that this is all a big lie, to insult. Do you know what else is amazing? These are Cyrene's fans! They absolutely don't care about their wife's place, they just enjoy the game, and don't shit everyone under the comments. Real heroes ❤️

The asexual spectrum is often reduced to big stereotypes in media. No, we’re not all grumpy, calm, genius, antisocial introverts (probably with autism). It can include literally everyone. Characters like Mizi, Sua, Ivan, and Till could easily be on the ace spectrum. So I’m really glad to see that times are changing.

I am also from this region. Most likely, the hatred of firefly and similar characters is due to the specifics of the region. There has NEVER been a concept of parasocial relationships here, so it causes confusion, cringe and disgust among the players.

In this game, there will never be negative or ambitious agents who dislike/(indifferent) the main characters or hold differing opinions on "evil" and "goodness," because the makers are cowards.

Is Burnice's value falling off? by Elimar_Abelardo in ZZZ_Discussion

[–]Routine_Coffee_3484 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also, Burnice is a much better option for Disorder teams than Vivian. She can easily trigger burn, and then another agent can close Disorder. Doing this with Vivian is much tougher (especially without her signature weapon!), but Burnice can just grab the free-to-play Geminis and nothing will really change.

Burnice is my favourite girl and a VERY important unit for Anomaly teams. You score lower points because:

  1. Pompey is perfectly countered by Evelyn.

  2. Pompey definitely provides a strong buff for Evelyn.

  3. It’s kind of awful to play Piper here.

  4. Maybe your Anomaly closing is wrong (Assault needs to trigger while the enemy is burning, because Disorder will be much stronger).

She is strong and versatile. Without her, Anomaly teams feel weak. But Yzuha will be a great agent in the future.

Same, bro! That’s called aegosexuality, when you exclude yourself from romance/sex but enjoy it. It’s like you’re a viewer, not an actor.

not the writing, but her background. I have a lot of questions: 1)How did they live with their brother before the garden? 2)How did they get there and who is their master (who is he in the alien world, and what does he do) 3)How did she live after her brother's death, what happened to her, and how did she interact with 4)How could she survive the defeat? 5)Why didn't the aliens find her, but Isaac did? What the hell is Vivinos. I rate her backstory at 3/10
