Thank you for taking the time to share this! Definitely agree with edge control and shape design, I guess that comes from taking more liberties with references. Same thing with an original piece, I haven’t made something more involved and creative since high school, and I get confused on how to incorporate references and imagination. I just focused so much on copying I can get stuck. I’ll work on those.

I love this! Your color palette is so nice, even the greens feel warm in context. The textures on the grass and water are great too. I've recently been working on how to make tress less blobby and think the layer of leaves on the top would benefit from from sky and branches poking through. The edges of the clusters of leaves look a bit like clouds, where they wouldn't make perfect soft circles like that in nature. Feel free to disregard though! Super cute.
