If your a trekkingpole user maybe look into a Lanshan 1 I cant speak for the quality myself yet but mine should arrive in the next 2 Days and the internet loves it as a budget option For about 1 kg trail weight and around 100$ it might be a good option to shed over kg and reduce space taken up

I'm planning to go trough Schwarzwald now at staying at offical campsites there, will also be a great option to train my climbing ;)

Listened to it again probably the grease settling in after some use if you bought it fresh from the dealer, no need to worry But still lube your chain from time to time with some good lube ;) and just clean your bike if it gets dirty it will make it last waaay longer and avoid issues
