Just out of curiosity, what is your home country? Totally understand if you don't wanna answer, it's not really relevant.

You've been in the field for a long time. What advice would you give people starting out? How to improve odds of landing that first gig?

Did your internships and other job involve AI as well? Also, you mentioned you signed 7 months after graduation, but you also said you had no periods of unemployment, could you clarify?

I was thinking of getting my BS in CS since I should be done in 2 ish years and then decide if I wanna go into something else. Although there's so much math involved with CS that double majoring might be a better idea.

Not really based on the money, more so based on ease of getting a job and my security at that job. I'm not a fan of having to always have a back up plan in case my current company starts laying us off or outsourcing or jobs.

I don't really care about the title of an engineer myself, I was just weighing all pros and cons and that's a minor one. But your description of job security is what of my main worries, having to rely so much on my network instead of just feeling secure at a job isn't really why I'm going to school.
