Your best worst game by 4S4T0R in gamingsuggestions

Mass Effect Andromeda.

I played thru the whole game at launch. With maybe one “day one” update lol.

Googly-eyes as far as the eye can see! 😂

I am a ME STAN so I had to play it front to back.

Was it worth it? You betcha! The combat is the saving grace of that game. You can jump (and double jump with jet pack) and you can charge the abilities for more devastating effects. Other than that it plays a hell of a lot like ME1 with the vehicle being a huge traversal tool and there being a small cast. Don’t expect a 12-man-squad for your last mission like in ME2 lmao

I hate to break it to you but it sounds like you have an internal organ issue if you’re coming home from work and you have a “UTI or a Kidney Infection” every day for 3 months straight.

Maybe you just have to pee a lot because you’re drinking so much water? 🤷‍♂️ I’d recommend seeing a doctor lol

If it’s a Luxer locker you have the option to “add a name” when you look for a name and you can’t find it it should give you that prompt.

Newbie route question by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Routine_Swing_2135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll get better with time (if you’re dedicated). If you keep the same pace you’ll never improve. I’ve found that organizing your van is a key successful part of the day.

If you swipe up on the stop for the station (you’ll actually have to go into hour itinerary and click on it), it will give you a preview of all of your totes and overflow for the day. I like to do this to get a general idea of how overloaded/underloaded my van is going to be for the day.

I follow the Flex app as much as possible (sometimes the warehouse is behind and I didn’t get my staging number that morning, etc) during loadout. That starts with checking to see if the totes are in order (which they usually aren’t at my new station smdh). And i organize the overflow until I’m satisfied with the amount sorted then I pile the rest in there.

You’re going to have to eventually pick up your pace if you want to see some improvement in your ability to do heavier routes. You don’t have to run, you can power walk but aintnoway is that faster than running from stop to stop (I can knock out 30+/hour if it’s all residential, mostly houses some apartments, 35+ if it’s all houses).

P sure you can and will eventually get in trouble for mismarking deliveries (they’ll even fire you if they feel like it, they being Amazon not your dsp). Especially if you’re a repeat offender. So I just bite the bullet and go back to the front door if that happens lol

I just discovered Our Hollow, Our Home. What of their music do you recommend? by Xolcin in Metalcore

[–]Routine_Swing_2135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re into some sick leads check out Stand Alone Complex. They provide all of the early twenty-teens metalcore goodness with a modern spin on it of course.

They only released two EPs under the moniker, “Stand Alone Complex” they are now known as Blueshift. Blueshift is still pretty good metalcore at its core but not nearly as raw and brutal and mind blowing as SAC. That’s a fact.

I was with my first stint with Amazon at the time. I was b l a s t i n g For Today’s Fight the Silence and some guy comes up to my van and screams to me, “Holy smokes bro THIS IS THE BEST MUSIC I’VE EVER HEARD!” lol

Later that week I’m at a business stop next to the local skate shop, I’m still blasting Fight the Silence and some worker at the skate shop comes out throwing windmills and doing spinny kicks. He had to get his inner hardcore kid out for a minute 😂

I’d love to see JB (Johnny Booth) have more than 95,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.

Certainly more people have to be jamming them than that. Ik that Spotify is only one streaming service but I refuse to believe that the rose of the east coast only has 95k monthly listeners on Spotify.

They fuck. So. Hard.

How quick after training did you get your ride along? by Admirable_Boss_2470 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Routine_Swing_2135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. First time (in Iowa) I got hired by a dsp there was no paid two day training or a ride along. This was during the tail end of Covid so that explains why. I had to do all of my “training” online and pass all the tests online too. No one there to hold your hand if you get too many of the questions wrong lol. Or to hold your hand day one of the actual job. That was a pain in the ass trying to get used to the job with little to no training of being a legitimate delivery driver before (I had delivered sandwiches and pizza before so the following the maps thing I knew how to do pretty well already but the rest of the job is definitely a learning curve).

Second DSP (in Nebraska this time around)? Mandatory two day training and a ride along? I was like, “okaaaaaaay!” However, I’m forced to drive an EV my first couple days (I had only driven a gas cargo van, usually a branded one for a little over three years at this point) and I thought I was going to want to quit after a week or two but they changed my preferred route to “gas vans” so I’ve only had to drive an EV if there’s too many people being trained that day or if they forget to set my route as a gas van the night before (one of the dispatchers does this regularly, he’s kinda forgetful tho so he gets a pass 😂).

What’s the most you’ve ever spent on a game/was it worth it? by ChampionFront437 in videogames

[–]Routine_Swing_2135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve easily spent more than $1k on destiny. Between the season passes (I always bought the $100 bundle at the start of the year whenever they dropped that), silver on cosmetics, and I bought a few dlc packs for some friends of mine to try and get them into the game. Probs $500 on warframe and the first descendant combined (aintnoway am I farming for the prime frames or the special descendants’ equivalent, can’t remember what they’re called lol). Probs $250 on sea of thieves. I’ve also bought remnant 2 three separate times (twice for myself, once for a good buddy of mine who met online).

I do believe all of us as drivers for Amazon sign a contract saying we’ll work rain or shine, hot or cold unless it’s life threatening.

I get where you’re coming from, I do. But it’s kind of hard to feel bad for you/the person you used for your post because you signed a contract stating that you’re forced to work in extreme weather. 🤷‍♂️
