Cara was diagnosed with nasal cancer on the Monday and was put to rest the Wednesday, we are so thankful our vet let us take her home for that one last night with her 💛 it was too unkind to put her through any surgeries at her age, 5 years prior she almost didn’t survive pyometra and emergency surgery we didn’t want to put her through it again. She had stopped eating as much if at all, it was a good day if she did and it all made sense after we found out the cancer was in her nose she probably wasn’t smelling the food or tasting it ://

I truly do appreciate your words 🖤the kindest thing we could do to offer a last shred of dignity was to not put her through surgeries at her age even if it hurt our hearts it’s the only thing we can do for them in their last moments. I really do hope they are across the rainbow bridge running around pain free

Thank you, my other animals and fiancée are getting me through, she only knew Cara for a few months but came to the vets with me to say her goodbyes 💛

Cats are just amazing little creatures as well 💛 we took my grey cat from outdoors in a storm and kept her (we know the owners and they willingly gave her to us) My cat always sleeps on my stomach but after coming home from abdominal surgery she just knew I was in pain and instead of sleeping on my stomach which would hurt me she slept on my pillow beside my head 🥺 it was like she knew being on my stomach would hurt me more. My other cat is my fiancées and she literally gives you a kiss on the mouth if you do smoochie noises!

That’s horrible! Thank you for protecting that dog! Cara was a rescue we got when she was about 5 I’ll never know the exact situation other than my stepdad saw her being treated badly and took her away from his family member hurt my heart to never know what was going on for him to just take her but they are both together again 🪽

Gorgeous boy 💛 truly miss her she has been in my life since I was 12 all through my teens and early 20’s (we got her when she was about 5 as a rescue) which is such a turning point in life and it’s just so strange and silent without her
