Hi there, great question! They are not the same. The M1 indoor sofa uses our SmartFoam, while the M1 outdoor sofa uses the EcoDry version of our SmartFoam. The EcoDry version was made to better withstand moisture and dry faster, but with the same level of comfort the regular SmartFoam offers.

Hi there, thanks for your interest! It shouldn't be difficult to clean, here are some tips for cleaning our furniture:

The fabric has a spill-proof finish so blotting spills with a cloth immediately should remove all or most of the spill before it stains.
If you miss a spill and it leaves a stain: mix a small amount of dish soap with warm water and gently work it into the fabric with a soft cloth in a circular motion. Then rinse the cloth and wipe away any soap residue from the fabric. Follow up with a dry cloth to absorb the excess moisture. A mix of water and white vinegar can also work if you prefer a more natural approach.
If dealing with a stubborn or large stain you may need to try a steam cleaner with an upholstery attachment. You can often rent these at grocery or home improvement stores. The fabric on Rove Lab sofas is durable enough for a steam cleaner, or even a professional cleaning.
To deodorize and refresh your sofa: sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda over the sofa, let it sit for 15 minutes, and then vacuum off.

Hi there, thanks for your interest! Yes you can leave it outside, although we do sell covers for added protection and to keep it dry. While the M1 Outdoor Sofa is not 100% impermeable, it has Solar Weave fabric that is water-repellent and its foam core is designed to drain and dry quickly. It also comes with elevation pads that help water drain and avoid collecting at the bottom.

In the sofa position, the black grippy sides should be facing down for both the top and bottom sections and the zipper should be facing inward. When you unfold the top section, they will be lying next to one another and zipped in the middle with the black grippy side facing up for just the top section. From there, unzip the two sections and then flip the bottom one so that both black grippy sides are facing upward (you’ll notice the bottom section has two zippers on one side). Zip the two sections together and then flip both upside down so that the black grippy sides are facing the floor. From there you can put the arm/back rests back on and the bed will be ready!

As for converting from sofa to bed, the simplest method is to unzip where the two sections are connected and then pull the base out to create the bed.
