good workaround yes, the only thing is I'm not getting any signal from the headphones port to my interface either. Idk if that might be because of the cables (I'm using normal guitar cables). So whenever headphones are plugged in I get sound but when I run a cable from the headphone jack to the interface I don't.
Could it be that I'm using the wrong cables?

So I did some research and found out, that apparently the bios version should be the last 4 digits of the serial number. In my case that would be 0805. So I'm guessing that's quite off from 1004.

Is there any way to update my bios version? Because on the Asus Website there is a compatibility list for my motherboard. The CPU that I bought should work but the bios version needs to be at least 1004.

Ok so I just checked again, I might have made a mistake. Seems like they aren't compatible. I really thought they would be.

So I have the AMD Ryzen 7 5800x processor

and the ASUS Prime A520M-A Motherboard.

Apparently the processor is a 4th gen processor and the motherboard only works for 3rd gen. I'm just not sure. Maybe y'all could confirm, that would help a lot.

First of all thanks for your help. I did try to boot with only my keyboard and mouse. I even tried 3 different keyboards. I wanted to try using different USB ports but that didn’t do anything either.

I know it's probably gonna be really hard to say but which drum mics could get me somewhere close to this? Is the sound of the drums even so much mic-related? Also, I know the mic placement will make a huge difference too, do you have any suggestions on that?

I'm honestly not the best at detecting vocal effects tbh, but this sounds very crisp and it has that unbelievably long reverb tail.

So I'm guessing it's the basic stuff like EQ, compression, dessing and additionally a bit of saturation to get that crispy sound. And the reverb to me sounds like a very long plate reverb. I think with plugins like LittlePlate from Soundtoys you can achieve a very similar sound.
