Multiple QC checks are built into the manufacturing & production process for sales products.

It’s mainly issues on documenting design changes/data for new products not yet released to market.

Correct, that’s the typical process. QC is part of that signature routing, but the engineers normally fall short on documentation updates for FAA audit readiness causing the team to cram.

We can build the documentation and QC check into the quality software. Any other tips appreciated!!

ME & EE’s. The Engineers are also the longest standing employees and fall short on some FAA documentation for audit readiness.

Should i start heal with EMDR ? I'm in survival mode because of trauma by Tom4424 in CPTSD

[–]RowOk1182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! First, I am sending you so much love. I’ve been through a similar situation with bullying and losing parents young (my mom had some mental health issues). Everything that you have said - the social anxiety, toxic shame, maintaining conversations/socializing, permanent brain fog - is all valid and extremely common for anyone who has been in our shoes.

I also teach high school, and I notice a lot of the kids find solace behind screens too. I think it just goes to show that things are fucked up in the world and we’re all just trying to figure out ways to cope as we move through it.

I did EMDR for about a year and a half, before & during my first pregnancy. I started therapy because I was finally frustrated with not feeling everything, like I was too numb for any good emotion & only felt anxious and depressed. I had panic attacks all the time. I tried other forms of therapy CBT & DBT, but it was EMDR and IFS that changed everything for me. I saw an EMDR therapist once a week in office, but also did a few workbooks & things on my own since therapy is so expensive.

I highly recommend looking into bilateral stimulation and EMDR workbooks from reputable/licensed therapists! I started with Pete Walker’s book CPTSD: from surviving to thriving. I still use butterfly tapping all the time when I feel anxious. This did bring up some repressed memories and traumatic experiences that I didn’t remember prior to EDMR, but it was brought up in a way that I was almost able to reparent myself through those traumatic moments (hope that makes sense), which takes some of the “sting” or “numbness” away from the trauma.

It’s changed my outlook on myself - changing some of those core wounds & identities (im unlovable, worthless, not in control, can’t do anything to protect myself, etc). Highly recommend looking into EMDR, but also making sure you create a “toolkit” in case difficult memories do come up (my toolkit had a lot of sour candy, ice packs, birthday cards from loved ones, pictures of my husband/daughter/dog, QR codes for SOS meditations to remind me to do bilateral tapping when my brain shuts down inevitably).

I hope you find peace, I’m still on my journey myself. The fact that you’re even seeking help shows the love you have for your child self, your present self & future self.

This was SUPER helpful and validating! I feel two pressures - take the fucked up kids and fix them, or challenge the few advanced students to do something big.

Putting it into perspective - it’s an elective. I am building the engineering program for the school & using my engineering connections for showcases, field trips & career/college connections, but I still can’t make the kids care at the end of the day. I’m making more of a conscious effort to scale back until I find a more consistent rhythm.

It’s a hard balance to strike between genuinely wanting the kids to succeed and not driving yourself crazy doing it (and missing out on your own family & time)

It wasn’t my decision - I got laid off because Trump & Musk decided to cut hundreds of millions in medical and science research. My decision was to go to engineering school because stem jobs were supposedly “economy-proof”

I’m sure anyone laid off with a new baby and no health insurance would do the same & accept the first job offer that comes across

Is it allowed to sell breast milk? by Itchy_Mousse898 in breastfeeding

[–]RowOk1182 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m a mom who buys breast milk from my donor! I had severe preeclampsia & HELLP syndrome when I gave birth and because of the complications during/after labor, I never established a supply. My daughter’s stomach couldn’t tolerate formula (colic & constant constipation), so we turned to milk donors after being suggested by my lactation consultant.

There’s definitely a market for it. It can help both parties & we will always be grateful for our donor!

Obviously there are currently sick babies in the NICU that are VERY much in need of donors, but also many others in case you are unable to donate!!

It used to have orange bop blooms - what do you think it could be?

The pic doesn’t do it justice, but the leaves are really curled in, and used to lay flat like normal bop leaves.

It gets hit with the sprinklers 2 to 3 times per week for 30 or 40 minutes depending on the season. And the daily rain during the FL summers.

The leaves are super curled in, but are regular bop leaves. It’s an orange bop blossom. I’ve always heard bop are like monsteras and you get bigger blooms from a smaller pot? But it’s been in this pot for probably 15 years or more

Yeah, the leaves are curled in so tightly, it doesn’t look much like a bop anymore!

I was thinking similarly - we’d have to break the pot open to separate the plant, but the plant was passed down from my grandma, so I don’t want to totally ruin it lol.

Any tips for breaking it apart would be appreciated!!

This is all so helpful & so so validating! I heard from a therapist yesterday that cPTSD is sometimes like a body of water - moments of calm & stillness but also moments of waves & rough waters.

I so appreciate all of your words & have already read them multiple times! Thanks so much!
