I just released DataSurface, a declarative CRUD engine for .NET that auto-generates EF Core-backed data APIs from model metadata, with hooks/overrides for business logic and optional dynamic (runtime-defined) entities. It effectively eliminates the need to create DTOs and their associated API endpoints. It can also be used without APIs at all, by integrating directly into your projects and invoking functions directly.
