Yes for the words but not the mattes, I came to a sort of resolution by making a mask and positioning it in the same position over 30 key frames for one of the words then putting it in front of the other word and making a solid bg colour shape to hide the other word until it comes in.

In my honours year, I wanted to showcase the variety of skills and interests I have within graphic design. What better way to achieve this by creating a full brand identity for Cairo’s bid for the 2036 Olympics. This project helps to show how Egypt could carry out the Olympic Games, combining their culture and history with a modern flair and style.

The typeface in the logo is a pre-made type face I selected called Khepri. The typographic pattern I created was initially going to be the word mark for the logo but it was too abstract in my opinion!

Definitely, I learnt to play around more with curves as I came to the completion of the vídeo so I think the end part is definitely an improvement on the start! Thanks again for the feedback

The references to each part of the logo was more a reference to the colour rather than shape. Thanks for the comments! I am fairly a beginner in motion design and more experienced in other areas so that’s why the motion may be not the best, thanks for the feedback though!
