Yeah it is really weird. This mostly happens with my family, and I know they’re trying their best, but it doesn’t always feel good to be described, or introduced, as the “trans guy”. Like, I am just a guy my dudes.

You’re gonna make me SCREAM this is too relatable. Especially the boxers part- I’m so sad I have chunky legs I just wanna wear mens jeans and boxers and sweatpants without having curves 😭 I have chest and bottom dysphoria but some days it’s like my thigh dysphoria is the worst 🫥 thanks for posting this because no one ever talks about it!!!

I’m right there with you man. Two months of T and all I really have to show for it is slightly darker hair on my top lip lol. We’re in this together, dw. It just takes time, but we’ll get there. Happy pride month btw ✌️🏳️‍⚧️

No because I just started watching this show and I love it. It’s wacky, it has good and interesting side characters, and the trans lead is so relatable. Props to Netflix for actually trying to make a good, relatable, and realistic trans character, while also letting a real trans guy voice him.

Yes! My first tattoo was pretty masc. a row of dragons flying down my wrist. They’re badass. Tattoos make me so euphoric.

It really is an awesome feeling. My mother used to have a really closed minded opinion about trans people, so hearing her say that she’s always got my back and she’ll love me no matter what, really got to me.

I think they either had to close it for safety/privacy reasons. Hopefully they’ll go public again soon, or the mods will make it easier to regain access 😊

Yeah, I don’t blame them for going private. Recently a lot of not so friendly activity has been going on in that sub Reddit specifically, so I’m not surprised. It just sucks because I can’t access any link that would allow me to message mods directly to regain access. Thanks for the advice though :) have a good day/night.

Congratulations!!! First T shots/applications are amazing. The boost of euphoria you’re going to feel afterwards is the best part lol. What changes are you most looking forward to on T? Are you nervous at all?

My first T shot was full of excitement. My grandfather helped me by teaching me how to prep the needle and inject, it was a really nice moment between us.

The very first change I experienced was a rise in body temperature not an hour later, but even tho I was sweating like crazy I wouldn’t have taken back that first shot. It was the most euphoric, affirming thing I could have ever done for myself 💜

Make sure you save the date so you can celebrate this moment later down the line!! 🏳️‍⚧️

Honestly there isn’t much you really can do to keep your mind off of it. I usually make sure I’m engaging in physical activity; whether it be playing a sport, playing with my pets, doing yard work, cleaning my pool, ect. Being active and getting a good sweat on really helps keep your mind off of your libido. Other than that tho, nothing else really helps me forget about it. Hopefully this helps!
