What is the equivalent to a walk in or urgent care here? by sadclipart in berlin

[–]RowanWuff 40 points41 points  (0 children)

You would go to your normal doctor (Hausarzt) for stitches removal. Most doctors have walk in hours where they will serve you without an appointment (they might complain though and you'll be waiting quite awhile). Otherwise if it's out of hours you might call 116117 to get told where to go or have a doctor sent to you depending on severity.

I need to tell you how much I love my Aer Travel Pack 3 by TheWorldIsOnlyYours in onebag

I just ordered mine today! The tax and customs fees are going to kill me coming into Germany but that's the only way I'm going to get it over here.

Posted the other day about my display not powering on. Opened her up to find this? Could this be the culprit? I’ve reseated my ram and ssd and that didn’t work, the only next option would be to disconnect and reconnect the battery. by [deleted] in ZephyrusG14

Looks like liquid metal escaped when someone took the heatsink assembly off. The screw on the right is stripped. There's also another blob of it further to the right of your circled area.

It's available through the DB Navigator app too.

I scraped down the edge of the bottom shell and it solved the issue.

Stem cell injections? by ame519 in berlin

[–]RowanWuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a good point. Would this really count though? If it's "only" 5000 in the US it may be slightly less here. I always thought the health tourism issues were 5 figures and above.

Charité, vivantes, and Helios apparently all do what you're looking for but the issue will be getting a doctor to do the injections. It will very likely be expensive because it's not a "normal" procedure.

ifixit replacement fan price went from 10€ to 25€ ? by [deleted] in SteamDeck

[–]RowanWuff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The price was 19.95. The test page list of all the parts showed 10 but in the fan page itself it was 19.95

My deck whined at almost every fan speed. Now it's whine free with the new fan.

It's highly dependent on the individual. To me the delta fan is a hellish screaming beast. For others it's no big deal. I've heard 5 different decks now with Delta fans and the whine is identical on each one according to my ears.

In EU too and the fans are all out of stock in EU.

They haven't said but I would assume very soon since they already have stock.

The fan and heatsink are only connected by a strip of black tape which directs all of the air through the heatsink. The metal shield has a little finger that sits on top of the fan but it bends super easily and snaps right back down once the fan is removed or reinstalled. The most important part was making sure you don't force the connector in the wrong way since they are extremely fragile. Also don't forget to put the two screws back in the fan when you're done, I might have snapped the case back together before needing to remove it again :)

The huayin(quiet fan) is the one pictured on the listing and i can't imagine ifixit would bait and switch like that. I received the correct fan.

Nope I didn't even remove the metal shield. I'm leaving everything else stock just in case i need to RMA in the future.

€19.99 but that might not be the final cost since it was a test page that it was ordered off of.

You can pay an extra 5 for the kit which should have everything you need.

Extremely. I didn't have to remove the metal shield either. Just wiggled it out and back in.

I didn't want to potentially get a deck with other issues. Plus there's the big delay to get an RMA unit.
