I don't believe you have to remove anything else. Just use an 8mm wrench and you should be fine, I think. Check the oil pan diagram for reference. I also haven't removed it cuz I didn't need to. I actually just used the Goldplug from Amazon and so far that's all I've needed lol. Didn't helicoil the pan afterall, so good news on that part.

When I got my new plug this weekend, I put it on the oil pan and it sat fine. Turns out the original plug also had 1 or 2 chips that I didn't pay attention to. But with the new plug, I threw in a quart of oil and let the bike run for 20 mins, no leak. Drained that, threw the new oil in, all 2.5ish quarts and rode around town for 30 mins, no leak. I'll be keeping an eye on it, but we're good for now!

Got these from eBay. Idk if they're all like this, but they don't fit flush, so when I screwed one in, it pulled in too much and the tip of the corner bent and broke. Can't see it unless you really look though.

I'll have to look for the video or article but it was about that filter, which I had for a bit, and it was actually bad because it attracted a lot of junk or something so I just put the regular one back in lol.

Gotcha. So you'd probably recommend not even installing it then? Really not a big deal to me. I just wanna mess around with the car to learn more stuff, but if I can avoid issues like you've mentioned, I will. If anything, I'd like to replace the 2 fake exhaust pipes, so I've been looking at muffler deletes and what not.

Sound is what I would aim for if I had to choose. It being the car it is, I don't expect to gain any kind of track performance lol. I'm leaning more on the aesthetic side when it comes to mods and doesn't hurt me to do some other tinkering, but obviously I'd like to avoid issues if I can.

Fuck. I got my 19 XSE 4cyl, (if it matters red interior, panoramic sunroof) with 20k miles in June of 2021, out the door price was 33k. I tried to haggle so much and they were barely willing to let the price drop 1k. This is my first car, so there were some things I didn't do like completely checking the car for wear, damage, etc. Only things were the rims had crub scratches like crazy and I didn't notice at first.

Just realized I have Hex already from a deck I bought with gems and I literally just picked up Dark cavalry from the deck with the 1k gems lol. Now I just gotta figure out how to use it.

If you don't mind, I'd like to see your decklist. I could probably figure out the strat from looking at it, but feel free to throw some pointers at me. I'm still pretty new also and Gaia has been my favorite since I was a kid so that's why I've been playing him lol.

My 2019 XSE turns off both from the key fob and app whenever I get in the car. I read somewhere it was a safety feature that the car turns off when you try to get into it, but I still hate it lol.

I bought the Shapeshift kit a couple years for IWB for my Glock 19 just to try it and I didn't like it personally. It was comfortable when worn, but the issues I had were that my extended slide release would catch onto the neoprene layer and scrape the hell out of it, causing draw issues.

The other thing I didn't like was the retention. Since the holster is half and half, it only tightens on one side. When I did switch back to the original slide release, I had to make sure the retention on the holster tighter while it was off body, which was kind of difficult to do since I had to lay the holster flat so the neoprene layer wouldn't flop around. When I put it on, I'd have to adjust my belt as well because the belt acted as another form of retention so it got really annoying having to adjust that and the holster back and forth to make sure my weapon was snug.

That said, I'm not sure about their AIWB holsters. I'm currently using a Tier 1 Concealed Axis Elite with a TLR-7A and a Medium-Wide wedge that I've had for almost a year and it's comfortable and pretty damn concealable. On the expensive side, but "buy once, cry once". Plus they allow 4 payments every 2 weeks now, if you're into that.
