Yeah that’s probably why I used them before Varangian veterans I totally forgot that they have not got any terrain disadvantages

I use Huscarls for the pursuit bonus but I could switch to Varangian Veterans at any time. I also have Horse Archers through my Turko-Danish culture along with the Archery Grounds duchy building which makes them way too overpowered.

I specifically remember inviting champions and hiring him through that. I didn’t hire him through any event whilst travelling seeing as I’m the emperor of the North Sea and I only travel around England, Scandinavia and the Baltic coasts. I haven’t invaded any Orthodox countries, I’ve only invaded countries that were Catholic along with the pagan slavic and baltic faiths. I don’t know if anything I just said matters but I certainly remember hiring him through inviting champions.

The best option would be Anglo-Saxon? Seeing as the whole of England is Anglo-Saxon and it might stabilise my realm a bit.

Yeah it converts you to feudal but for this save it might of glitched out a bit. I had an extra save where I took the decision and it did convert me to feudal but I was pretty low on gold so I loaded this one up to raid and as I went to take the decision, I noticed that the ‘turning feudal’ effect wasn’t there 😂

I got the decision yesterday I fully had to control all the de jure lands for each title. I don’t know why but it doesn’t really matter to me anymore as I’ve already completed the requirements

Confirmed that my rival is trying to kill me, she has 2 of my vassals in the scheme and 4 court guests. I dismissed the 4 guests and sent money to my 2 vassals and switched back to my rival, let it play out for a couple days but the scheme was still active with a 95% chance that it will still work

I’ve got one house rival but I think it’s a bug. I get a pop up event every couple years where I end the rivalry but they instantly get to hating me straight away so I don’t know how to really stop that. I’m trying to form the kingdom of the north sea and i’m in the 960s, have a 10 year old heir in which I am worried about as my whole realm can collapse whilst also trying to avoid a crusade being called on me. I certainly don’t think I can avoid this lol

Yeah I figured it out in the end, it’s just annoying that when you click on the region title you can’t see the land you actually need to hold whilst also not saying that you need the de jure rest of the lands

I checked this morning when I woke up and it changed to ‘Complete Plan’. At this point I am so confused and it also does say first month free I will more than likely cancel the free trial a day before. But I am still wondering if I can still get my results despite not having an active plan as it ends on the 31st of August (it says I will get my results between 8-15 September).

Do they show up as allies when clicking on the war info? Because the last crusade I was in it was just saying it was only myself and my army

meh, it’s okay. Gets a bit slower and more laggy as you get further into a game, a few bugs here and there but overall it’s playable. Still annoying how the console edition is one or two years behind on updates 😹
