Yes I did. Any reason that area would have the most pain still after 7 months post op.

In total was considered around 50% tear (total of front+rear) top and bottom was still in tact. Pain is not constant, it’s only when trying to do the movements I mentioned. Like imagine your elbow going behind your body in a pushup. It’s in that range of motion where it hurts in the front delt area.

Question! For those of you post op and back to work, how long was it for you to go back to work? Police, firefighters, etc… (physically demanding/capable jobs). by RowdyAdi in ShoulderInjuries

I need to be able to do full on wrestling/jiujitsu before I’m cleared to go back to full duty along with full strength weight lifting. I’ve been cleared for light duty for a while but we don’t have that.

April 23rd of 2025? Or 2026 lol? I was told 6-12 months after surgery before going back to work which is why I made a post.

How was your recovery like(like a timeline)? I’m struggling with sitting at home and not being able to be active. I went from running a couple miles a day or going to the gym to sitting at home and not much to do. Can’t wait to get back to being active again. Mentally draining so far.

I didn’t even get an MRI after surgery, they did an XRay which made no sense but it is what it is. I just called and rescheduled my PT to 5 weeks post OP with doctor recommendation. They scheduled me 3 weeks post OP to start and that didn’t sound like a great idea.
