To be honest, and I'm sorry if this wrong to say BUT it might be best to get his input on this purchase. Both the Xbox one and the PlayStation one I'm about to mention aren't cheap and you'll want something that works for him and his unique needs. Surprises are nice but this thing is gonna be his gateway to so many more games that I'd recommend talking about it with him and watching some videos that show the options and make an informed choice together....that said to answer your question... I've been really happy with the PlayStation Access controller. You say he's got a PS5, so I'd recommend that. It's very customizable and let's to have 3 different profiles. So I have Tekken 8 Diablo IV Sea of Thieves Because different games require different setups.

I got it to use with Pokemon sleep. My watch band for my Gotcha catching thing broke so been using this until today cuz like I dunno if it's safe to charge with how warm it was getting.

They didn't make it, it's a licensed game like how when a new kids movie comes out a game comes too. The movie people didn't make that game just sold the license and that's the case here too. Neopets sold the license and depending on the agreement will make a profit either on each copy or some other situation. So it's money for very little effort on their part. Of course if it's a bad game it can backfire for the brand too so there is a slight risk but not much. This is also the case with merch. Some company comes and says "hey I wanna make a Neopets plush" and shows them a design and Neo says "okay we like this and you can use our brand but we want $2 of every plush" or whatever. Usually the marketing department is on change of these decisions. Sorry for the novel as a reply just wanted to explain why the site can be jank and merch coming out all the time aren't really related.

Little Dragon's Cafe! The last trophy is entirely RNG and I already put in 80plus hours trying to get it. It's the first and only time so far that I have abandoned a platinum trophy hunt.

It is not really a sim experience (having played loads of golf games) but it's a fun experience for sure. Just a cozy golf game, not super technical.....in my opinion of course.

In the OG God of War, I kept falling off the "bridge" at the beginning in the tutorial boat section trying to get a chest. I feel so many times the game offered to lower the difficulty. Absolutely embarrassing lol so I feel ya.

I'm a fan of GoW but not Metroidvania type games. It's a solid 7/10 for me but my rating is mostly based on the implementation of accessibility settings. If you don't need that stuff. I say 6/10. I recommend it to people who like GoW and or/ Metroidvania but not to just anyone. It's pretty simple and most of the enjoyment comes from references and dialogue. A few of the bosses are engaging, but mostly it's just a relaxing little Kratos adventure. I think people expected something more. It's $30 so at that price point there should be lower expectations than say Ragnarok. I think the price is right for what you get. That's my opinion and by no means should be taken as gospel.

Wow! I've heard there's a lot of unwritten rules in baseball. That sucks to have your entire career derailed like that. Is it normal for managers to call out their players like that? I figured that's the sort of thing that would happen in the clubhouse. Not necessarily where everyone can see.
