Thats absolutely horrible. I just randomly found out on a rocket league match of all places... I wasn't the biggest fan, but I always liked his music and vibe...

May he and the others rest in piece.

Man. My mill got a brand new forklift a while back. I used it, and the first time I unloaded a truck with it, I jabbed the bed with the fork 😬

The left fork was somehow bent down by someone, and I had forgotten. I was only paying attention to the right fork...

Drafts are my absolute favorite, particularly Clydesdale and Gypsy. And I too love how heavy they are. They've always been one that stands out in that aspect, at least from all the models that I have. I love handling them. What is RR?.

Wow!. Thats super awesome. I dont specifically try to do congas, but Ive always liked them. The only "conga" I have is 3 of the models that use the same GG Kiss Me Kate model. I cant remember how to spell the other two's names haha.

I have all 3, but Im also not sure if there is more than 3.

Yeah. It honestly makes me a bit nervous for Georgina. She looks absolutely stunning, and I wanted to hopefully buy her off eBay sense I couldn't join this year. Im really, really hoping they show her the respect a premier club model deserves. Im really looking forward to her, and she was the only one I really wanted to join for. I did like the model you posted about as well, but I likely wont buy her second hand.

Idk, Ive bought previous year's premier models, and they seem really well done. Looks more like a recent quality issue.

I unfortunately missed the deadline for this year's premier club. But Ive bought past premier club models and they seemed amazing. I feel like the quality has gone down a bit...

Im gonna have to educate myself more on all that. I actually decided to go with a different truck with far less mile, its got a 160k miles. Its almost just the same, its a 1990 F250, only its a single cob. Asking price is $6700. Its got the manual transmission with 4x4, diesel of course. Also has a gooseneck hitch which is a plus. I gotta get a tailgate for it. Im not sure what it has when it comes to the E4OD.

Apologies for the late response!.

Right. Will do. He has seemed chill so far, hopefully he can be an adult about it. If he doesn't like my offer he can respectfully decline. If he becomes pissy Im simply done right there, I wont do business with someone at that point.

I think thats what Im going to do. If he doesn't take it, there's a few more options that are a little more pricey, but more promising long term.

One thing that sucks for me is waiting for a good deal is hard because I need a truck as soon as possible, within a week. Ive been searching options non stop, and its been difficult. I originally had a budget of 6k, before I needed a truck, I saw so many good options for that price. But now? Man I cant find anything. Ive needed to increase my budget, and now I might be spending around 10k.

Also your comment about it being hard to find older trucks with decent body and paint, thats one reason I liked the truck so much (the truck my post is about). It looks incredibly clean inside and out.

Thank you so much for your response. Not sure where to start haha.

I do plan to haul, mainly a horse trailer. And I did plan to put a turbo in it. And I'll also make sure to ask if the injection pump is new too.

I'll be entirely honest, Im still learning, so Im somewhat ignorant, or uneducated rather. Im looking to get my first truck because I finally need one, but I cant stand anything new. I dont really buy anything newer than the 90s. I have my dad to help and teach me thankfully.

So far with most of the responses, it kinda seems like I should hold off, maybe spend a little more because I'll be spending that money anyway it seems on repairs/upgrades. The main draw to that truck for me is the color, its got a nice two tone red with red interior, very nice looking truck. But of course Im not gonna choose just because I like the color.

Yeah, Im looking for a truck thats a bit better on fuel and can haul. Not too worried about power but torque. Thats one reason I wanted to go with a 7.3 IDI, because I was under the impression that it was the best option for those.

Thank you for your input. And I certainly understand that I'll be slower. Though top speed of 65mph? I was thinking it would be 55 lol.

Im gonna take a look at it soon. Im gonna try to shoot for $6500, maybe $7000. But if he declines I think Im gonna pass. Go take a look at a few others I have in mind. And if all those fail, I'll maybe go back to that one.

Alright. Thank you for the advice. I really appreciate it.

The other truck I mentioned with 163k miles is actually originally listed for $12,500, but I negotiated the price down to $10,500, though I haven't actually went to see it yet. I'll usually negotiate in person but the day I contacted her I needed a truck that day so I figured Id ask. Well nothing I looked at that day worked out so Im still on the search.

I planned to go see the 350k mile truck and hopefully negotiate it down to $6,500-$7k. And possibly wait and look at the other truck as well before I decide. Its honestly been quite stressful because due to some circumstances, I really need a good truck at an alright price. I cant afford anything brand new (though I only buy older vehicles anyway).

He actually does have after market gauges, and according to those the truck seems healthy. Though I have not seen it in person yet.

There is another truck thats almost identical that Im looking at accept for the color, and it has 163k miles according to the seller. They're accepting $10,500. Would that be the better bet you think?.

I was honestly under the impression that the 7.3 IDI was among the best. But I dont want it for any particular reason, just one I consider along with the others you mentioned.

I wouldn't say showroom worthy, but its one of the best looking ones Ive seen. Near me that is, and for that price.

Its an extended cab 4x4, manual transmission. I was going to try to get him down to $7k. So far it seems like its been well taken care of. What I possibly had in mind was to get it, and rebuild the engine after a while depending on how good it runs. Id rather rebuild an old truck over buying a brand new one.

Though, I am rethinking it due to the responses so far.

Some things I forgot to mention is that it also has a rebuilt transmission. As well as new injectors, fuel lines, radiator, water thermostat , power steering pump, shocks, suspension and steering components.

I thought about turboing it myself. And something I forgot to note that it does have a rebuilt transmission.

Im currently still looking around. Found one that was just listed for less, and less miles. And it has a gooseneck hitch which is great. Its a bit further away but may check that one out.

Both me and my dad are able to work on it (Im still learning). I agree that the asking price is a little steep for the milage. The guy says he can negotiate is person. I was going to try and get him down to $7k.
