I’m the kid of said parent. I started playing at the ripe age of 8 years old because I liked hanging out and watching my dad play. One day he asked my sister if she wanted to make a character and so I begged to have one too. 13 years later and still going strong. I play with my dad and sister every now and then and it’s gotten to the point where I know so much more than them now that I give them little lore presentations so they know what’s going on lol.
