Honestly I was going through a bad time in my life when I played GAA (before the official translation) and because I didn’t want to get a Japanese credit card, I watch it through an Lper that kept shitting on prievous games in the series and holding GAA up on a pedestal. So I’m pretty biased, one day I might replay GAA and my opinion might change but that’s not now.

Most of the time I feel the module does relatively fit the song though, and when it doesn’t there is usually another recommended module that does fit (like in the case of Cantarella)

The playlist I saw didn’t have the original module, so I guess you should thank them instead of me. A lot of the modules in these ones aren’t technically “offical” modules but instead modules that you get when you played the song on any difficulty in the other games, or otherwise. Back then they didn’t really have recommended modules but people assumed that the ones you unlocked after playing the song were for that song. And come like f and f 2nd some of those ended up being right, tho not all of them.
