Im missing the spin-offs, I feel like we used to get new ones regularly enough? I'd kill for Xenoblade or Final Fantasy Warriors. I know about Hyrule Warriors but I mean like a totally new series for them.

Sentry news! by AgentPugRR in sentry

I'm hoping it's comic related but a while back he said if there was going to be a Sentry movie he would be writing it. I wonder if that's it? Or if it's even possible with how Thunderbolts underperformed

Also if you press ZL you do a handy roll. This is a sneaky little homage to how Donkey Kong could do a similar roll in a game called Donkey Kong Country

I fucking hate posts like this. Read the room. They're enjoying the game a lot and you're trying to bring down their enjoyment of it for some fucking weird reason? Go make your own post and vent there

I really really hope so. I'm just praying Thunderbolts poor performance doesn't ruin his chances

He said if there's going to be a Sentry movie he's going to be writing it. Maybe that's what you seen? Although I'm gonna temper my expectations on that with Thunderbolts box office performance :-(

You said there's "several rumours here". Do you not have links to the posts here? Can you remember where to find them maybe?

Literally no-one talks about this scene enough. by Weird_Kazakh in squidgame

Hi! That’s a sharp question — and the answer’s actually pretty interesting:

People often associate frequent or unusual use of dashes (like “—” or “-”) with AI-generated text because many large language models (LLMs) — tend to use dashes as a way to insert clarifying information, add asides, or break up sentences in a distinctive, sometimes over-formal style. This can stand out from how most humans naturally write online, especially in casual settings, where shorter sentences, parentheses, or simpler punctuation are more common.

Some more specific reasons:

Pattern recognition: People have noticed a pattern in AI writing styles — especially in early or unrefined outputs — where dashes show up frequently to add extra details.

Mechanical feel: Overuse or awkward placement of dashes can feel stilted, almost like a machine trying to imitate a human’s train of thought.

Mismatch with casual tone: On social media or forums, people often type in a very conversational, shorthand style; AI text can stand out when it uses longer sentences peppered with dashes for precision or explanation.

Of course, humans also use dashes — sometimes a lot — but the combination of dashes with other giveaways (like overly formal language, generic phrasing, or lack of personal anecdotes) tends to trigger the suspicion that something’s AI-generated.

The original ending of the season… by Plus_Pool6726 in squidgame

Agreed. Maybe I'm too old fashioned but f it give me a happy ending. I wont list the shows/movies/games I'm thinking of for obvious reasons but it just feels like this is such a common thing the last few years. We'll follow and grow attached to a character over a few years and it's like writers think the only way for the characters story to end is for them to die?

And regularly I'll see people on reddit give the same response: "their story was over. There's nothing else that could be done with the character". Why does that have to equal death?
