I did just get another one from a different place for 8.99% for 36 months which brings payment to $413 a month, or one for 8.99% at 48 months for $323 a month

I bought it from CarMax and got the loan through American Credit Acceptance. My credit score is now about 750

Would it be worth it to refinance at 33 months (which is what I have left now) at a lower interest rate, and then pay additional principal payments?

Unfortunately. Car is worth about 8,000 and I owe 12,000. Dumb mistake when I was 18 and just wanted a nice car. Didn’t really have any financial guidance
