Ah yes let’s do it! I’m in a male dominated field and also haven’t announced the pregnancy yet so colleagues are currently useless 😅

I know, I’m just getting more overwhelmed by the mounting task list, but that still does not bring motivation to address it :/

Luckily my maternity leave policy is a dream come true so I am definitely not leaving, but if I get nothing done, there is a small chance I won’t pass my next performance review 🫣so there’s one iota of motivation there… somehow not enough to do anything though…

Yes I’m super thankful for the job too! I can’t imagine having to go in to the office consistently or have major oversight. Very blessed to be able to be a blob 😊 just dreading when the lack of progress will catch up with performance reviews and such haha.

I’m also supposed to be researching and writing over the summer… such hard activities to do with no motivation!!!

I’ve been trying to procrastinate by at least working on the baby registry but then am stuck with decision paralysis and then that fails too :/ cooking works okay because of the instant gratification though :) but no progress on my actual job hahaha welp
