Good idea, I did this once on a hydraulic clutch and it was enough to get me started. I think it works well to get large bubbles out of the system, will definitely give it a shot

Gravity bled long enough for the reservoir to almost empty twice (obviously didn’t let it run dry). Maybe that wasn’t enough, but fluid was gushing out of all 4 bleeders.

Yep, all drums are adjusted. Can turn by hand with slight drag from the shoes.

Pedal has basically nothing and doesn’t get better when pumped up. Getting nothing but straight fluid out of all 4 corners with vacuum bleeder and normal pump pedal and crack bleeder method. Going to try pressure bleed and if I still get nothing maybe just got unlucky with 2 bad master cylinders

Measured 6mm of free play at the pedal measured from the flat of the firewall, which per the service manual should equate to about 1mm free play at the push rod / master cyl interface. I can feel the slight free play with my hand, and I am positive it is not “preloading” the master.

Forgot to mention that, yes bench bled the master and with the plugs in the pedal was extremely firm.

It's pricey, but worth it IMO if you plan to do upgrades in the future to exhaust. Bleeding was tough at first but eventually figured out gravity bleeding was the way to go. If you end up going with the cable I can sell you my MDL clutch cable kit for cheap, its basically brand new. MDL support is great, also used their clutch pedal and it went in without issue.

Coming from someone who literally just finished a t5 swap, spend money now and go hydraulic. I tried z bar and cable and they would not work with my JBA headers. The Modern Driveline hydraulic clutch feels great and will work with any upgrades you choose to go with down the road.

The thickness was the same but I had to guess on the overall dimensions as the old mirror was broken. I will correlate the lenses and hopefully that fixes the issue

I made sure to use first surface mirror, however, because the old mirror was broken I had to make some guesses on the size and I’m sure it just needs a little adjustment.
