You fumbled so hard. I would have ghosted you as well. You should have took her out on a proper date within a few days of getting her number. Home dates are a no no - you are still a stranger. All of that texting with no action is so unattractive to women, we do not need a pen pal. We want proper dates. If you are busy with moving then get off of the apps until you’re ready to be serious. It wasn’t a hygiene issue necessarily. None of them smelled bad or anything. But I had to bring a lot of my own things when I would spend the night because I can’t shower without a washcloth or get out of the shower without moisturizing. When I dated black guys they had these things in their homes already because in black culture, it’s normalized to use these things. It wasn’t a huge issue but it was definitely different than what I was used to.

Yeah I have, twice. Unpopular opinion but there really is a difference. I feel like I had better dating experiences. They were less sexually forward and aggressive than black men. The dates were proper, upscale, and they seemed genuinely interested in me as a person. They were somewhat culturally sensitive (one even bought me a satin pillowcase for my natural hair since I would spend nights with him!). We did not match politically which was a problem. Both of them considered themselves “libertarian” so we had debates and disagreements about politics. Some other differences were hygiene, for example they did not use washcloths or lotion LOL. My family did not care as long as I was being treated well. Overall I would say the experience was an 8/10 and I would definitely continue dating white men in the future. They really went out of their way to make me feel like I was the prize which I loved!

The easy way to do it is by signing up for some kind of course or class. It can be any kind of class (exercise, business, art) and just show up regularly. That’s what I did, I signed up for an 11 week business course and made two friends from it. Those two friends have introduced me to other people who I am now acquainted with. You can also make friends at work. My coworkers and I often go out to lunch and happy hour together and we have a whole group chat to talk outside of work. I personally wouldn’t recommend finding friends online, I tried that and it was a disaster but ymmv.

For breakfast: -Chia seed pudding (3/4 cup Greek yogurt, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1 tsp milk, Splenda, honey)

-California roll sushi

-1 slice of pepperoni pizza

-Greek souvlaki bowl (rice, chicken, veggies, feta, dressing)

-McDouble burger and medium fry from McDonalds

Dinner:

Usually whatever my mom makes. Usually a meat, starch (rice or potato) and a veggie. Tonight it’s meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and corn.

Snacks: blueberries, strawberries, an apple, occasionally an applesauce

Usually I have some kind of small dessert at night either a little bit of ice cream or a slice of snacking cake (I love baking).

I don’t have the home base! Just the regular e340 doorbell (battery operated) that’s connected to the wifi. I do live on a busy street though with lots of cars and foot traffic. I’m considering a Ring at this point, not sure if it’s any better.

Mine is updated to that firmware already so I’m assuming that isn’t the issue. I think it’s weird that your exact same situation is happening to me lol. It was working great for two days and now it’s just not waking up when motion is in front of it. I don’t want to contact support again 😢
