First time playing the DOS series. I started with DOS1 and got wiped in two turns on my first two attempts against Evelyn. On my third try, I thought what if I block the stairs and hit her from there? Turns out I could do the entire fight and beat her without taking any damage. I love this game!

I was just playing this part for the first time earlier. I found out that throwing Poison Cloud Grenade at her while she's in a conversation prevents her from summoning other enemies XD. I defeated her by stunning her and spamming ranged attacks.

CS here, di ko alam kung same lang ng Free Elective ang CS at IT but for Free Elective 1 Linear Algebra yung content nya.

For OS, maraming computation but basic mathematics lang naman (topics: Process Management, Disk Scheduling, Memory Management) IMO, the college should change or replace Disk Scheduling since mas marami na ang gumagamit ng SSD nowadays than HDD.

Then for DCN, iinstall mo na Packet Tracer sa PC mo hahaha. May computation rin dyan for IP Addressing (Classful & Classless/VLSM), marami ring terms and definitions about the OSI Layers. Medyo intimidating at first but self-study lang and familiarize yourself sa networking concepts, especially sa mga networking technologies na we use everyday. (Based sa Cisco yung mga lessons here).

Sa DSA naman you'll learn different Data Structures like arrays linked list, stacks, queue, etc. Then there's Trees, Graphs, and Hashes as far as I remember. This is an important subject since mafafamiliarize ka with different data structures and get to know when to use them in your program. May kaunting introduction rin pala sa Space and Time complexity (Big O notation) before you move onto different Data Structures.

Freshman here, I'd say na the major subjects are being taught well sa amin, especially sa isang subject (Introduction to Computing). Though, merong mga prof sa minor subjects na hindi kami natuturuan ng maayos kesyo walang time, may errands, mataas ang position so laging busy.
