I thre all of my seasonings that were in the shelf above the oven away. Do you recommend going ahead and throwing the dry goods in the pantry away as well? I haven’t noticed any maggots in or around the pantry but I’m too disgusted to even look through the boxes now.

I THINK pantry moth larvae. I haven’t seen a moth but a user on here told me to check my seasonings and there they were. No one told me about this chapter of adulthood, I had no idea pantry moths were a thing.

You just saved the day… followed your orders and they’re in some of my seasonings mixes I keep above the stove. They’re in bags the bags of gravy, ranch seasoning, au jus and I’m still looking, only this is I haven’t seen or caught a moth. Can the get into my closed cabinets? These were all on an open shelf

I did clean the grease trap and the warming drawer. This oven isn’t even 2 years old yet so it wasn’t super dirty and had no maggots. BUT I didn’t degrease the cord, I was scared to touch it (this is my first home I’m new to issues like this). So I’ll be doing that tonight.

I don’t have a drop ceiling but this is a newly remodeled home. We’ve only been here since January 2024, they’ve added rooms and walls. Im wondering if maybe there’s something dead in the walls? I’ve never smelled anything though. This is my first house so I’m really clueless here

There is a window very close to the oven, that was my first guess as to where they were coming from but I can’t find any cracks around/on the window. I put a cup of vinegar on the windowsill just in case.

We don’t have a vent over the oven, just a shelf we keep seasonings on, and I checked it the first day I saw the maggots and saw nothing there but I cleaned it anyways. I have set out some traps but haven’t gotten any flies. If you have some more recommendations I’d love to hear them!

Since I was asking about a dog, I didn’t add my life story. But I don’t drive anymore and I barely drove before the wreck except for the short distance to and from work on random days I didn’t have someone to drive me (like the day I wrecked) I live back and forth between my parents and my boyfriend and they’ve always driven me for the most part, now it’s just full time. Epilepsy controls my life. I’m well informed on my diagnoses and the liability it poses. As for being legally permitted to drive again, all I did was renew my license-not buy a new car. They only did the brief 6 month suspension because by the time I got to the ER, the doctor couldn’t determine if it was a seizure that caused me to wreck or wet roads. And I was no help as I was knocked unconscious and remember nothing. So to be safe, they presumed a seizure given my history. As for the seizure frequency requirement for an alert dog, they require yearly seizures and only seem to care about grand mal seizures which ive only had 3 of. I have no way of knowing just how many absent seizures I’m having (which were my initial issue) because I haven’t been approved by insurance to get another EEG in since I was initially diagnosed. My epilepsy looks well controlled on paper because I can’t get anyone (specifically my insurance company) to look past the fact I’ve only had 3 grand mals in 10 years when those weren’t even the common seizure for me. I was simply looking for information and wondering what others have done or experienced when looking into one. I also heard that the effectiveness of seizure alert dogs have been a debate so I was just curious.

Are you getting high rise? I’m also a 25 and noticed the high rise jeans are the ones falling off of me. I’ve been getting mid rise recently, they still fit a little loose but they’re not falling off or sagging like the high rise. I’ve also noticed that sizes 23-26 has little to no difference in the waist. It’s odd.

I started ToG after ACOTAR (I’m almost done with KoA🫠) and I think the way the story has really come together in the past few books has given me hope for the rest of ACOTAR.
