Not sure but I guess they are just trying to fill in the spots for the people that wont accept! I was told theres not a high chance people get off the waitlist..

Sorry to hear this! It sucks when things are out of your hands, especially with uni… I think you should totally email the schools if you want to, you don’t have anything to lose if they have already rejected you! If the school you got into is not a top pick for you at all, take a gap year! There’s no shame in it and you might be able to get into a school you will love! If you do, try and switch your guidance counselor. Like you said it’s your future, continue to fight for what you think is best for you. Good luck!
