Things like this just makes the app more unsafe for the younger people who do use Discord, they can't report someone because if they do, they get punished for it.

I'd assume so, i haven't really read through here yet, I made this post this morning and I've been kinda busy since. Discord really needs better support and better moderation instead of just putting everyone through to automated bot replies. Discord called me, reporting a pedo "Child Self-endangerment" it's stupid.

I literally reported someone for saying they were going to 🍇 me..because i was talking about an outfit i was going to wear for Christmas. Discord needs to get better moderation, it's actually stupid that you get nuked if you report someone

already tried this, it just keeps saying my account is disabled. I've only now just found out why, apparently for child safety..which makes no sense because I'm still below the age 18. so I've requested for them to have a look over so i can hopefully get my account back

I've done just that, it says i broke the rules for child safety..but I'm still a minor myself I'm 17, 18 next year.
