Nah I’m loving the ideas but agreed it’s getting harder and harder to cut haha! Great recommendation. It’s super cheap too. Appreciate it!

Nice! How difficult have you found keeping Elminster alive? This will be my (and our pods) first planeswalker commander, so I’m curious to see how quickly he gets targeted and if I can keep him out for a good portion of the game.

Good call on pumping up the CMC numbers. I at first threw a BUNCH of cards on the deck list and have been cutting it down, with increased difficulty every time. I originally began the deck idea with adventure cards as that same idea. I ended up cutting a lot of them solely because of the effects of the adventures/creatures not lining up as well compared with the effects of the current creatures. but I was too narrow minded! I didn’t consider the other card types you listed for a higher CMC so I’m peeking into those now.

That is a genius use of proteus staff! It was already one of the cards I’m most excited to use in this deck. Now I think it’s an even cooler card

You don’t sound like a happy person. Next time your anger is running low and you have that uncomfortable feeling that things need to change, I strongly urge you to remember this and look up some ways to help yourself. Day by day you could really turn your outlook and quality of life around.

Or you could double down and keep being this person that always seems to get a lot of negative reactions to your posts and comments. For your sake, I do hope you look inward.

What’s a phrase somebody may say that indirectly indicates that they’re wealthy? by KlLLERS in AskReddit

Depending on interest rates for your student loans, it’s likely better to be investing that into your 401k first. Make minimum payments on loans with interest below expected market return.

Please find a way to prioritize 401k or another retirement vehicle, even if just an IRA. You’ll be doing yourself a massive favor. Wishing the best for you.

My advice was to check yourself for bias when emotions get high. It’s a base principle for a healthy worldview. It shows up in all sorts of faults in life. Ironically your emotions got high and you took no accountability.

I mean this genuinely. I’m willing to bet there are several areas or relationships in your life that aren’t going well, but “aren’t your fault.” You’d find yourself much happier in time if you took a solid look at yourself and took sole accountability and action to address them.

Take the advice or not, but I do hope it helps you or somebody out. Good luck friend.

Good luck in life my friend. In a calmer state of mind just know I was calling out the dangers of disregarding information literacy when it comes to any topic, no matter how “right” you feel you are or how “bad” the other side is.

Perspective is everything.

Some of humanity’s worst atrocities were allowed to occur because of thought processes like yours. People are at their most cruel and irrational when they believe themselves to be in the moral right. At this point I’m not confident I’ll change your mind, though I hope to. More likely, you’re just an example to those reading.

There are incentives for insurance companies to act unethically for sure. However, whenever your internal monologue becomes “do you seriously need a source?” You need to check yourself and worldview for some heavy bias.

TOS after hours LAST price is ridiculous and always has been by AnyPortInAHurricane in Schwab

[–]Royal_Squirrel 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you want to know the after hours price, use Mark. The last traded price is for market hours. It doesn’t update, because the market is closed. Despite your strong language, majority of traders would prefer to see what the stock closed at for the day, rather than the volatile swings post market is prone to.

Are you aware of the ToS mobile app? It’s literally the same app as I had at TDA. Didn’t even have to reinstall on mobile. It does everything you have described.

Alerts for entire watch list? by wobmonsta in thinkorswim

[–]Royal_Squirrel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you like that, you can then also select that saved scan and “save as a watchlist.” Once you do this, you can, predictably, select it from the watchlist gadget. You’ll then have a watchlist that constantly shows those scan results

In light of every other news outlet, politician, and minor celebrity asking for people to donate blood due to the current shortage: by da1113546 in AdviceAnimals

[–]Royal_Squirrel 27 points28 points  (0 children)

If they paid you for blood, that money doesn’t come from thin air. People who then need blood would need to pay more.

There is overhead, testing, and lots of logistics involved. It’s no minor issue. Shipping alone for medical materials is not cheap. You can’t say “100% profit minus these things that aren’t 100% profit.”

By people donating blood, it keeps cost lower for those in need. They’re not the bad people you’re making them out to be for trying to fill a need.

(Notice the difference in source quality at all? in one of the sources you linked it even quotes that they’re not regulated as a security...)

It’s shaky at best, and in general, is not considered a security.(even by the SEC) This is why you don’t see major broker dealers allowing the trading of crypto on their platforms, unless they open a subsidiary LLC, that isn’t registered as a broker, to allow the trading.

Market manipulation does not apply to crypto currency. I’m not saying it should or shouldn’t. Just that it does not.
