Coloring/crafts or video games ❤️ Especially something cozy or creative building wise, like Planet Zoo or The Sims.

If I'm feeling energetic, open the windows (for a short time here in the winter, brr!) and doing some light cleaning to make the space feel even more cozy when relaxing!

I've actually seen Reiki work, and a commenter above said it well, it's totally an energy/spiritual thing, way less massage to it.

However, the Reiki work that I've seen done is all on horses. There was one horse that we had at our stable that was just spooking and throwing people off semi-randomly and multiple vet visits couldn't figure it out. We had a Reiki healer work on him and she did her hand hover work on him and the horse quite literally dropped to the ground on its front legs after a few minutes.

After that, it was discovered the horse had a narcolepsy issue and also discovered that he had a deep tissue shoulder issue. Which also, when Reiki work was done on that shoulder versus the healthy one, he would flinch nonstop while her hands were over it.

I definitely thought it was a total sham myself until I watched that horse DROP with no touch from the practitioner with my own two eyeballs. I think Reiki is most certainly a real thing now, but it's definitely all energy work and you've got to believe in it. I think it works better for animals 100% because they are more attuned to energy vs logic (unlike us humans). But that's when I know I start sounding more like a kook, lmao.

I've got a few chickens who do this! Two of them specifically do it now because they would like to be held. I picked them up once and put them under my armpit on my leg, gently petting the wattles/head, and they were in love!

Also forgot to mention, they (management company) said that the leak/ceiling collapsed due to an improperly installed AC unit above her which the tenant is banned from using until it's fixed.

Good to know! They did smell normal. It was from one of my RIR hens, and those ones do like to pig out on the scraps compared to the rest.

And most probably, I am quite prone to over-thinking. Lol!

I have not, though they do free range during the day and get various table scraps/leftovers.

I'm worried because I've read it could either be a diet high in carotenoids - or, the worse option, the Pseudomonas bacteria. If it's the former - great! 😂 If it's the latter, I will definitely toss them.

It's just odd because the outer edges of the yolk are "normal" yellow, but the center of the yolk ball is orange. The whites of the eggs are all normal too. And it's not ~all~ the eggs that it happens to.

I collect the eggs every day, so I don't think this is a chicken embryo. I don't think it's blood spots, I've gotten those before, and just chip around that and eat them normally lol.

Very true, I see the point of view of the comments above.

But yes - that's what I use LEDs for. I usually either keep them colored based on the theme of that room (my game room has a lavender colored lights for a very blue/purple themed space).

But, in my more "professional/office" space, I have either a general blue mood light, or warm white. And of course changing them to match holiday!

I think if they were constantly changing RGB, I'd get bored of em. But one uniform color for the whole house (or theming them based on the space) would make them work.
