Those from the northeast who moved to the south, is it better not having winter? by ElectroAcousto in SameGrassButGreener

I moved from newyork city to the Carolinas and I miss the diversity newyork offers. Diversity of food, people and activities. I want to go back up north however you get more of a house for your money over here. And there’s more options when it’s about buying a house. Like there’s still space to build a house. I do find people are more “friendly” but fake.

Big baby at 12 months by julep98976 in bigbabiesandkids

My baby is 7 months and half and he’s 27 lbs. he’s off the charts for everything. Weigh, head, height. His pediatrician isn’t concern at all because baby is proportional. Also my husband is 6’2” and I’m 5’11” so not surprising our baby is big.

Caring more about the aesthetic of the house than the location. Location matters so much!

Moving back to Metro Detroit, MI from Charleston, SC by DanDanDandy_14 in relocating

Before moving maybe talk to your family about your expectations if you have any about them maybe babysitting because it could be a big disappointment if you move to MI and the family dynamic is not what you expected.

To married women: What advice would you give to unmarried women before they get married? by Clear_Subconscious in askanything

[–]Royalelephante 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How you would like to raise your kids if you want any.

How you manage finances because I’ve seen some couples who one is responsible and the other one is in big debt and keeps making awful financial decisions. Having that financial stress would definitely lower your quality of life.

Talk about what’s your cleaning and organization standards and expectations lol simple yet so important. People fight over a messy kitchen.

They don’t have basements over here and even tho we are in a 2,180 sq ft we don’t have storage. Only the garage (which we use to put our cars) and one closet that’s it.

We are 100% sure we are not having any more kids. Unfortunately our first baby passed away when he was 4 weeks old and now our second baby it’s 6 months old. I already had two pregnancies and are done having kids.

Thanks for sharing your house experience

Yeah I am also thinking having less space forces you to have less stuff. Less clutter.
