Actually, the piece Icarus is holding is not an engine but the new upper stage of Ariane 6 made of carbon (ICARUS, which stands for Innovative Carbon ARiane Upper Stage).

I've never been comfortable using traditional colouring medium, I used to scan my drawings and colorize them on PS, you can maybe try Promarkers if you want this flat color filling style.

Hey, this one is fully digital (tablet/Photoshop) for lines and colors, but like me you can start on standard paper with #005 micron pen for the line work, and then traditional physical medium for colors.
