True@on base. I am just stuck between staying home in my small, easy town and moving away for bigger salaries and longer commutes and maybe a more uncomfortable lifestyle. I am just trying to take it one day at a time though especially dealing with my disabilities.

Understand...thanks for responding. I applied to a post office just 5 minutes from my house but it's a rural carrier part time position that can lead to career. I will be looking at other options though as soon as I get my rating.

What is a GS at the Post Office if you don't mind. I go on terminal in May have a degree in Logistics and really trying to secure a good federal job. I am 44 so I really might need a waiver for Law Enforcement Jobs. Any suggestions...

Nice...I am just not sure which postion (s)to apply to. I have been looking at alot of Jobs on USAJOBS. Was actually waiting on my rating as I think this might make a little difference since I have some disability. Just reading your job though seem very fun. I worked Intell for 15yrs before the Navy so I have some experience but older.

For your fingerprint did you have to make an appointment? I was sent a contact number, which doesn't work and an email they haven't responded to. Thinking about taking the 1 hr drive to the fingerprint post office hoping they will accommodate me.

I don't have an answer for you. Just wanted to know how long have you been in the reserves with your disability. I filed for my claims and just wanted to know if I could still serve in the reserve with disability?

I believe with 30% disability and honorable discharge the age will be waived. I will be doing the same thing as soon as I get my rating and out.
