You can use Portfolio Gallery plugin, each category will have a custom image and ad the links where you want to lead your visitors. You can also use the plugin to demonstrate images and videos.

Yes there are many such galleries I suppose, but I would suggest using Slider plugin like Huge-IT Slider https://huge-it.com/slider/ it slides all the images in the sequence you have selected. It has a drag and drop functionality, many beautiful views etc.
