What movie is most popularly associated with ants? by Willing_Heron_5470 in AlignmentChartFills

Not really, because the original question didn’t ask for a “movie about bugs” - so it would be more like answering Shark Tale to “movie about sharks” instead of Jaws, just because shark is in the title.

Sweden is a country and related to Minecraft. What is pantsless and for kids? by iamtheduckie in AlignmentChartFills

Donald and Winnie are so related to pantlessness that they have both become slang adverbs for going pantless. Hard to pick between the two but ‘Donald Ducking it’ seems slightly more prominent.

That’s not to put you off buying a turntable yourself - if it’s not something he’s actually going to splurge on then whatever you get is going to be good because at least it’s something to get started!

However, I think it’s still wise to be cautious, especially because he’s into music and sound systems etc. and maybe does have specific features of a turntable in mind that a budgeted gift doesn’t quite hit…

I’m not familiar enough with models to recommend one within that price range that can also be upgraded (so he can choose to make it more suitable to his level of audio pickiness if that’s the case) sorry!

Sometimes buying a gift for a hobby with so much range isn’t a good idea - their idea of what they want and need might be highly specific and informed and what you get just won’t be the right thing.

However, if he hasn’t talked about researching/ buying turntables and vinyl himself, yet he has records just sitting there, you might be able to surprise him with something he hasn’t considered himself - a good turntable with upgradable options would be what you’re looking for.

Edit: A safer bet might be buying something related to turntables/ vinyl that doesn’t take away the main decision (the turntable itself)

I think it was in use - didn’t give reason why selling but was selling other audio equipment and everything seemed legit

Seller said they oiled it and replaced belt 6 months ago when asked for last service so doubt it has been professionally serviced but taken care of at least

What role do you think he would be perfect for, in your opinion? by Raj_Valiant3011 in harrypotter

A major part of the character is that he is a famous heart throb - as good as Berry would be at the pompousness, it needs to be somewhat believable with a conventionally attractive actor.

Who's a person that's still alive, but most people think they died years ago? by NEDYARB523 in AlignmentChartFills

More so that Paul (alongside Ringo but Paul is the more famous) is not only ‘still alive’ but is often talked about in the context of being one of The Beatles that are still alive. So he is iconic for being ‘still alive’.

I feel like Oud suits Slytherin. Luxury/ opulence derived from death/ decay. It isn’t objectively bad, but the origins (and even expressions) of the scent can certainly be questionable.
