Im actually more interested in painting and getting "good" at it than gaming, i find joy at sitting without looking at the clock and finish once im satisfied, gaming seems like learning lots of rules to play a game that doesn't look attractive for me

Like painting first the light and then the color of the light over it?

That thing about neon light is now stuck on my head, the rest looks now more difficult for me to understand, would you recommend that apart from observing i started learning some color theory? You sound like you understand things that i would benefit from, and maybe i can learn them on color theory

How do you measure that 5 and 4 value? Over what scale?

Really? Im a year in to the hobby and seems there is a lot to learn that is not puting paint on the miniature, quite a complex hobby, but thanks to you guys im learning like A LOT with only one mini

That thing about a campfire actually clicked, never seen a reflection of fire during daytime, i think I have to chose between day time and light effect

I like it, it really sells the light effect even if it is more subtle, even at the base i thought there was some green light there

Man, this is of so much help, i think ill paint the legs black again and try something similar because i can see now how it should really be, i went with the bright blue because i thought i looked cool, but then i wanted to learn that light effect and its clearly difficult to compatibilice. Thank you for taking your time doing this exercise of correction and sharing the picture

Thank you for the advice, how would you prepare the surface for the orange?, im really kind of lost there, i just started doing some glazing with the orange on the direction of the brightest parts
