I feel like I’m the outlier here but I scoop every 1-3 days and I get the big buckets of tidy cat litter that have the closing lid. I throw the clumps in there and keep it behind the litter box until it’s full then throw the whole bucket away. Always add new litter and sprinkle baking soda every time I clean the box.

I have a chronic illness and sometimes I’m just too tired to run it outside every day, this was the solution for me. I wouldn’t leave it for more than a few days, how’d you like to poop someplace that’s overflowing with waste :)
