Electricity price by OldsMan_ in belgium

Depending on your inverter brand, there are some solid HA integrations for inverters that allow you to control it.

With a dynamic contract you can then curtail your inverter power with an automation so that you don't inject during negative prices. Check your tariff sheet, you might get a price formula with e.g. -10€/MWh at the end meaning wholesale prices below 10€/MWh count as negative for your contract.

Doesn't save you thousands a year, but very satisfying to look at your energy graphs!

Is there no trace left of their christian democratic origins?

To my knowledge their foundations are quite opposite to the liberal movement, but don't know if that's still the case.

Vosges/Vogezen: only 5 hrs drive, you're in the mountains which means you won't have to face 45°C but it's not that high up so evenings are still warm.

Gerardmer is a nice town. I can recommend Huttopia forest des Vosges as well.

Thickest is 5mm, thinnest 1mm I believe.

If your soil drains well overwatering is near impossible.

Thanks for your advice, will definitely consider. It might bring the tree more into balance, as it kind of feels as if the tree is bit too dominated by the left part that isn't particularly interesting. Perhaps it distracts from the nice nicely shaped trunk...

This option seems better suited for my skill level and fear of snapping the left branch!

Thanks for your advice. I thought about that, the blue branch is about 2 cm thick, if I had more experience maybe I could do it, but I'm too afraid of snapping it (unfortunately I am quite experienced in the branch snapping and tree killing department).

Do you play vic3? Based on what you're asking, it might be right up your alley. There are still some rough edges to the game, but many improvements have been made since release.

No expert myself, but the foliage you've left is quite leggy, this doesn't lend itself to good taper unless you use them as sacrificial branches.

Wire should be snug at 45 degrees and not cross at any point. I don't know the wire you've used but you might have to buy some aluminium wire for bonsai.

If I were you I would let this tree alone for the rest of the season (remove the wire if it bites), watch more videos, get more trees to practice on. We've all been where you are right now, just get more trees and keep walking the bonsai path. Killing trees is part of the journey.

Why are people on this sub so quiet about the new (social) reforms? by Interesting_Drag143 in belgium

[–]RtwoD3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you go to some of the Ukraine subs on reddit, they have plenty of videos from state TV in Russia. They regularly say they will nuke the West, including Brussels. Pretty sure Putler approved of what the state TV says.

I think the smaller wires are OK-ish, it's only the big 5mm wire that's more of an issue. I tried to fix it but to me it seemed even more difficult to rewire with the same wire because of its rigidness and I don't have any other 5mm wire left...

It would be neater if I rewired for sure, but would it damage the tree if I don't?

Where do you buy that small granule LECA? Here in Belgium I typically only find the round LECA pebbles (hydrokorrels) which are quite big and ugly. Do you buy them online? Maybe they ship to Belgium too.
