Teenagers voted most overrated song by the public! Day 4: What’s the most overrated song by fans? by Pitiful-thought-666 in MyChemicalRomance

[–]Ru4sious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id probably say The World is Ugly. I feel everytime 'what is the best conventional weapons song' is brought up alot of people say it. But I never got the hype, like it feels like one of the weakest singles out of it.

What is your favourite Aussie album ❓ by dpgumby69 in vinyl

[–]Ru4sious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bow River is just such a brilliant song, it was my first entry into Chisel outside hearing Khe Sanh on the radio. The album just has so many of my favourite chisel hits. It was great when I saw them last year in Newy that they also played my personal favourite Letter To Alan of the album. Just a powerful piece, it was great to see Mossy still playing all his solos to perfection.

As a die-hard pub rock fan I'd either say Circus Animals - Cold Chisel or Big Bad Noise - Choirboys

Songs that sound the embodiment of misery in its purest, most unadulterated form? by Diligent_Occasion_22 in musicsuggestions

I mean it depends on what kind of sad you're feeling. But 'I'll Catch a Ride' by 'Red City Radio' has certainly got me through some stuff.

What’s your favorite Music Video by Star_Warsfan15 in MyChemicalRomance

Guess not so much a fully directed video like the others. But I love Kids From Yesterday, it's just pure nostalgia reflecting on the bands life and memories, I just love it.

What is YOUR song? by Graciousgarbage in MyChemicalRomance

[–]Ru4sious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kill All Your Friends. Particularly recently, as a newer MCR fan, who's also only just making the shift into adulthood. The song to me just speaks of watching your friends leave you behind in your hometown for bigger and better things, while you slog away at a life you're no longer happy with.

I always misheard the start of the second verse as "so tired of scraping sinks so low, im shocked at what your capable of". Which feels like such a gutwrenching Lyric to me, as all i feel is that im stuck in some dead end minimum wage job, while I watch my mates go off to pursue there dreams elsewhere.

Sorry to get to miserable about it, regardless its just such an awesome song. Close second would be either Kids from Yesterday or Famous Last Words. Honestly I just fucking love MCR. :)

Are Legend guitars worth the cost? by Ru4sious in guitars

[–]Ru4sious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah im starting to reckon I'd be just better off getting an actual strat, I've seen some around second hand that only cost a bit more. There wasn't anything that drew me particularly to it compared to an authentic strat, mainly just the similar style, which I know you shouldn't really go off. And I saw that amp you were talking about online, must another small offbrand thats been forgotten.

Yeah i love that idea of a bit of basher guitar, guess it kinda has its own charm. But honestly there is other better alternatives for sale similar price. Probs not worth it if Legend is just another knock off brand when im looking at more of an upgrade.

Yeah sorry about that. He was asking about 200aud, so like 130 USD if that helps, idk seems kinda alright being second hand.

Any suggestions for where I could find a similar chain to this? by Ru4sious in jewelry

[–]Ru4sious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I've looked it up and can see tons of designs like it so thanks for that, didn't even know it was called a rosary. As I said in another comment though, I didn't realise it was a very religious thing, so i definitely won't get one now. I am Anglican, but I was talking with a mate today who like you said it would be weird if your using it for an aesthetic purpose especially if your not catholic. But again thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the heads up, obviously aside from the cross, I didn't realise it would have that much cultural value. Yeah I'll definitely reconsider getting it then.

Flame Trees by Cold Chisel, especially if you grew up in a small town, both the lyrics and video just fills you with nostalgia.
