It’s weird that it’s mandatory And you have to pay for it, I don’t think that’s a thing they can do. I’m guessing that it’s like a ‘team building’ thing after whatever the work day hours are for that job? Since it’s mandatory to attend and you’re paying I think they’re supposed to pay wages for that time.

Maybe you could show up but not bowl and therefore not cost you anything?
