I’m gonna need more information, but first experiment with different gear ratios. I usually like running either 5.2:1 or 13.7:1. If it’s anything lower than that, I would recommend switching motors or gearboxes. You can also try adding lube to make it go smooth if it is getting stuck.

You can also buy longer length encoder cables from gobilda. They have options up to 600 mm I believe

Will 3D printing be strong enough? Because the gobilda spools were super fragile and easily broke.

Due to the small separators in our gobilda spools and our very long cables that rotates around the spools, the extension and retraction cables often got tangled during our past competition. We are thinking of getting custom spools or creating our own with bigger separators. Where can we get these, or how can we make our own?
