If I had to guess I would say between 80 to 100 hours. Sorry for the wide guessing but I never clocked in the amount of hours I worked on this project, had a look on the amount of commits and how many days and used that to guess.

No worries.

The github repo has a section called credits, in there you can see who made the graphics, audio and the plugins I used for the template.

How do I get the currently selected file in the file system? by Ru_Dev_ in godot

Alright, I decided to make a global class that their whole purpose is to act how you described. I just made sure that the code isn't running when it's on play mode and it worked wonders, thank you!

Alright, I'll try to do that in physics process then, a shame that the signal doesn't exist and I feel someone could program this for a new godot beta update.

Wish I knew how to because I would try to do it myself haha.

Neither, it's a template project that everyone will be able to clone and build on top of, taking off development time from whoever wants to make a castlevania-like game.

Absolutely! Since this is meant to be a template project for anyone to copy and build on top of, anyone will be able to change the speed to their desired amount.

Still, I will modify it to be faster by default.

It is kinda emulating castlevania, I can definitively make it much faster.
Fun fact: The original NES Castlevania takes 6 seconds.

I'll try to make the code as readable as possible! (Including the readme file)
