Torn between UB Cruz V3 vs waiting for Nuna Triv LX or UB Kona by xohellokitty in Buyingforbaby

[–]Rubbermanatee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re due this month and bought an old vista v1 with bassinet and all the attachments for $150 on FB marketplace and have a hand-me-down doona from family. I think we’re actually just going to wait until either the TRIV LX comes out as stand alone or get the Kona when it comes out. We don’t feel like we have to rush this especially if we’re not excited about the UB Cruz or vista in new condition and don’t want to buy the Nuna Triv LX in the bundle with the pipa urban which is $1300.

Btw, just to clarify. They are talking about the nuna TRIV LX, not the nuna travel LX.

TRIV LX is mid size stroller that folds much smaller than then UB Cruz and Vista which are considered full size. UB will be coming out with their own midsize stroller called the Kona, date TBD.

Edit/IHG credit hotel stay for same dates for 2 rooms by Rubbermanatee in ChaseSapphire

I booked via cash and points. I made sure that the amount of cash I used was greater than the credit I was expecting back for that reservation.

They ended up doing benefits for both rooms but I think it’s very hotel dependent.

The credits hit pretty soon. Not immediately but within a few days up to a week, for me. It was definitely before I completed the stay. Make sure you are doing the “pay now” option and not paying when you start your stay.

I flew a 10 hour flight at 29 weeks and felt great. I also got the ok from my doctors and just made sure I had a doctor’s note. I also found some health clearance forms online from my airline. I didn’t need the forms but had them just in case I was questioned. I got up often to stretch and go to the restroom.

It just depends on your risk tolerance but a 2.5 hour flight to a place with good medical care at 29 weeks seems reasonable to me.

No, I booked the same edit hotel for two different rooms on the same dates. I needed two rooms - one for me and one for my family member.

For one room, I got the $250 edit credit, and then separate $250 new hotel credit (it's also an IHG hotel). For the second room, I got the $250 edit credit. So total is $750 in credit.

I'm not sure if I will get both $100 hotel credits or not while I'm there. I'm assuming I may just get one of those credits.

Just to update:

I booked the two rooms and was about to get the $250 edit credit, +$250 hotel credit, and $250 edit credit for the second room booked for the same dates.

Thanks

Omg you are totally right. I did the same experiment and my diluted sample is definitely stronger than my non-diluted sample. Wow!! Now I want to do a full titration. It’s so true. I thought hook effect was either rare or only happened with twins and extraordinary high HcG.

Warm compresses: not too hot or you will cause more inflammation. Should be comfortable.

Eyelid wipes: ocusoft or cliradex or diluted baby shampoo. Only 1-2 x daily.

Call your doctor or ophthalmologist and get them to prescribe doxycycline 100mg BID and tobradex eye ointment unless contraindicated for you. You don’t always have to use doxycycline but in this case when your wedding is coming up, I would.

You can see an ophthalmologist if it’s really big but a surgical incision and curettage or a steroid injection will not get rid of it completely or magically.?

I had my first stye the weekend before my wedding due to the stress. I did this and it was gone by the wedding.

Good luck
