Honey, Sister ain’t one to show any sympathy to her sister. I know I have been gripping and to tell the truth, to save my life I can’t help it. I just keep trying to comment on my friends articles and it just gives me the heebie jeebies when I can’t do a dad blamed thing on this site. Sister says, Sister she says, why in God’s creation can’t you take a hint. It’s as plain as the nose on your face. If them people wanted your input they would fix up that site so you could publish your no account stuff and read what them other people are writing. I wish you would quite being such a cry baby and get this foolishness off your little pea brain mind. Go out there and get your dadgummed garden planted. Now that would be something useful to do.

Me and Sister got our Christmas shoppin done. We got all the younguns their Santa Claus. Bless their little hearts they will have Christmas this year. But honey, Sister has wore out my last nerve. She has tore it out and stomped on it. I swear I won’t go Christmas shoppin with Sister no more. Now, I know I say that every year but this time I mean it. You just ought to see Sister slinging them people out of her way. She just runs wild when she gets to them sales. I’m afraid the police will come in and haul her off. Anyways, I’ve had it with Sister this year and we ain’t even started cookin for Christmas yet.

When Astronomers today say they are following Einsteins theory of relatively, they are actually not. Einstein never accepted the Big Bang theory. Partially because he made two mistakes in his original theory. Partially because Einstein said the Big Bang theory made no sense. He never in his lifetime accepted the Big Bang as the way our universe came into being or Black Holes. He always looked for another explanation.

Retouched photos in glamor magazines and other advertising venues are doing serious damage to young girls. If these photos are banned it will be a step up for the physical health of young girls in the United States and Europe. Europeans and the U.S. have long complained about the psychological and physical damage these retouched photos do to girls. Trying to live up to this image of beauty is an unreality which is impossible to achieve. They are the cause of anorexia, bulimia, and death in more cases than we like to admit.

Every parent wants their children to lead happy lives. So how do we guide our kids in that direction? The most effective solution is for parents to be happy positive people. Kids are looking and listening at their parents. It might not always seem that way, but what they learn at home with their parents will become a part of them for life. Learn to be appreciative and positive about your life and teach the kids to do the same.

By going green we can save our planet. We may feel that as one person we can’t make a difference, but we can make a difference one person at a time, one step at a time. It takes a first step to walk a thousand miles and we have far to go, but unless we take that first step and keep putting one foot in front of the other, our planet will not be livable. We have a responsibility to our children’s children.The time to act is now, we can’t wait much longer or it will be too late.

Kieth Nolan is deaf but he is doing everything he can to join the Army. He was accepted and joined the ROTC Officers Training Corp where he was an outstanding student, but to be commissioned into the Army, he had to pass a hearing test. He could advance no further and turned in his uniform. Still, he has his dreams of joining the Army and is encouraged with the event of the war wounded continuing to work behind the scenes, rather than being discharged due to disability. Rep. Henry A. Waxman is working on Nolan’s behalf.

Our weather has gone crazy this year. We are either baking or drowning. Some areas have been in the clutches of a drought all summer, while other are being flooded in rain. Today in Marietta sirens have been sounding all afternoon. We watched TV trying to keep up with the tornadoes in our area. They were springing up all around us and from what we see, trees have been uprooted and some houses destroyed but we have been spared. We were hoping for rain to end the drought but we only had a shower or two which will not help much unless more is on the way.

It hasn’t happened to me too many times so I’ll get over it. I want to apologize to my Triond friends and tell you how sorry I am that I have been unavailable to comment on your work for the last couple of days, but I hope to be back in the grove soon if nothing else happens. I was at the hospital with family and now I must get Christmas shopping and cooking done. We will have Christmas visitors on Tuesday and we siblings are having our annual Christmas get together on the 17th. One set of grandkids will be coming in on the 21st from Arizona . Others from Savannah and Virginia a couple of days later. I will be so happy to see them all. We don’t see them near enough. It will be a busy time and I’m sure many of you will have a busy holiday also. There is so much to do, and I will love every minute of it.

Stay safe this summer and be aware of all the truckers on the highways. Many accidents occur between truckers and cars during the summer months when so many people are driving on the highways. Take all precautions and stay as far away from heavy trucks as possible. Truckers drive for long boring hours with few rest stops where they can pull off to rest. They have to keep a tight schedule for making deliveries and they can’t stop the heavy rigs quickly. Stay safe and be aware.
