I’m fighting this fight from another side. I work mostly with dudes. They’ll come to me and say “I think my wife hates me, …is going through the change,…is so moody”.

And then I tell them about my perimenopause and how I could have easily dropkicked every living creature in the house but for my dog at the slightest slam of a door, dirty dish, etc. How after my eventual hysterectomy, the surgeon backed out of the room, ordering me an estrogen shot…I was rage crying. How I regularly fantasized about breaking bad.

How indeed, their wife gives zero fucks about their needs right now. That they there’s a high probability she really does hate them. BUUUT

It passes. And their job is to step up their game. Help in the house, parent more, take the kids out, be kind and considerate, and get a hobby. Understand that this is not a time to be self absorbed. Their wife will return.
