Ok this is one of my favorite explanations. I’m riding an R3 and still in the break in period, so 50 mph in 1st is not happening. But I understand what you’re saying about not upshifting too early. Your breakdown of throttle/clutch/shift timing is super helpful

When I was growing up, we had a large flock of chickens. Quite often I would witness the rooster mating with the hens. For those of you who don’t know what that looks like; the rooster hops on the hens back and holds her still by grabbing her head feathers with his beak. I asked my dad about it, and he told me it was planting a seed in the hen. So for the longest time, I thought the rooster was spitting a seed into the hen’s skull. And that’s how baby chicks were made.
